Dearest Mum, today was the first birthday without being able to hear your lovely chuckle when we sing happy birthday. We have had a real 'mummy tribute' day for you and I'm sure you were with us too - we've had a robin following us all day. We have been to the zoo, with our own animals in tow too (as always) Then we went to watch an animated film - you would have loved it. Then a carry out tea while watching masterchef!
